Faint Thoughts

‘Faint Thoughts’
It is a song with a blend of pianos and violins that brings home a feeling of faint thoughts that are to be remembered once again to make a right move.

PORTRAIT :

This is Albrecht’s master-piece called ‘The Praying Hands’.Wondering why I’ve uploaded this image here, ’cause the story behind this drawing, celebrates true friendship.Yes, a true incident that is worth sharing on the occasion of Friendship Day .

STORY :

Five centuries back, there lived two friends called Albrecht & Ron. Both of them had a strong passion for art. They wanted to learn it from a nearby academy. But their poor financial status hindered their dreams. So after a hard brain-storming discussion they’ve decided that one of them should work and aid the other with sufficient money to complete the studies in the academy. Then the one who completed studies would sell his art work and with that money he’d support the other to study. Now the problem is, who’d study and who’ll work? They’ve let their future to be decided by a toss. Albrecht won the toss and went to academy while Ron went to a near by station to lay train rails. Albrecht started learning tough lessons and is making fine drawings, portraits and wood-cuts that are even making professors to mesmerize.

Finally after completing his studies, Albrecht wrote a letter to Ron that he’s coming back to village and he asked Ron to stay at the church. Tears of happiness rolled down Ron’s cheeks as he saw his friend coming with fine arts and complex portraits. They’ve shared all their four years of experience and Albrecht said “Hey! Ron, now its your time to study and I’ll support you.” Saddened to reply, Ron told his friend that as he worked hard for days and nights in severe atmospheres and with huge hammers, his hands lost all the softness and over a course of time they’ve become too hard. “And now I am suffering with arthritis so badly that I even cannot hold a glass of water without shaking. Its too late for me my friend, I am done!”, said Ron and took his friend inside the church. “I am happy for what you’ve achieved and I want to pray for you that you will become a world renowned artist”. As Ron is praying Albrecht took out his drawing tools and with a lot of pain and emotion of love, he started drawing Ron’s hands. Thinking his friend’s sacrifice he carefully highlighted all the details of the hardened hands on a piece of linen cloth. After a few centuries this real-story became well known all over the world and the portrait is named as “The Praying Hands” and is considered to be one of the powerful paintings of all time.

EXPERIENCE :

This wonderful experience starts with school-friends, whom I remember even today with their names and the silly acts they performed. Boon, Vikas, Srinu, Babu, Rakesh, Manoj and I have been together for 12 years. Yes right from LKG to class 10. Even today my hands swiftly move to call them, when I’m in trouble or distressed. During holidays we meet at our school ground (one of the finest places on earth) to play cricket. Joy spellbounds. We talk of all the non-sense and its really hard to depart even its getting tooo dark.

Next comes the big heroes who made me a man, yes friends at college. I’ve a few but they all are really cool and have been with me in every crucial aspect. I owe a lot to them, especially my engg.. classmates. I cannot forget the help they’ve rendered and I can’t imagine, how I’d stand today without them

I thank God for such a good and caring friends. Tace Kare.. ba..byee…

Back to Stone-Age

It was in second standard, if I remember correctly, I’ve learned about exhaustible resources. My science teacher used to ask the entire class to say aloud in a chorus the differences between exhaustible & non-exhaustible resources.I’ve really wondered at that time if a D-day would really come, when man runs out of resources.

Man has a great hope on the future ahead.Science&Technology,IT,Medical advancements … blah..blah… have worked wonders till today. This lead to think of a future totally automated, sophisticated….( and a many more sci-fi adjectives of this kind).Recently I’ve come across a cartoon in reader’s digest

and even you might have come across many such kinda stuff about next generation living and Hollywood movies belonging to sci-fi genre are of no exception.Recently even bollywood started producing such movies. ‘Love Story 2050′ boasted of cars that fly high and many ultra-techno-gadgets. But the big question is; Will man really make it to the future he is thinking of ??? Don’t think I’m a pessimist, the present scenario in Andra Pradesh has lead me to publish this post.Yes, we have the electricity coming to our houses being halted for 4-5 hours per day.Its really horrendous and many a works are becoming static during these hours. At theses times I often listen elders say, we’ll definitely roll back to stone-age.Its really hard even to think of it.But I’ve dared to imagine what if it really happens. Here are a few unthinkables:

1.No more blogging.Go take a stone and start carving…

2.No more shaadi.com,date.com.Start singing ‘ Khaboothar Ja Ja Jaa.. ‘.

3.No more online exams, weekend tests. One stop for learning: Gurukul inside a thick forest.

4.No more F1-race,golf.Its all about ‘bow&arrow’.

5.No more kitchens, recipes.Go pluck some fresh leaves.

and as the list goes on… life bemoes too miserable. So stop thinking about it start living life to the fullest when everythingz available and perfect. Tace Kare.. ba..byee…

Sponge Dosa

Evening snacks with friends while talking all the day’s non-sense relieves anyone from stress and sets the mood for the rest of the day. Yesterday I badly needed this kinda relaxation for two reasons; one – after a long break I went to class, yes I finally made to my first class in final year; two – pavan played and sang old telugu songs (really boring) for almost an hour. So totally vexed, phani and I thought of going for a stroll and on our way we came across dosa-store at mvp supermarket, our mouths watered and we really felt like eating dosa.Phani orded sponge dosa , “perfect for this kind of atmosphere( its drizzling at that time) , it tastes like a delicious south indian dosa with a tinge of sour”, phani said and even I felt the same after eating. Yes I liked it and I really liked the name much more, so much more that it became the title of my first blog.I know you came reading this far only by the looking at the title, what to do??? weired titles attract readers. I’ve been planning to blog since 2 years , damn thats correct!!! … 2 years, hmm… thats how a typical , lethargic ‘made-in-andhra-student’ would do things. Anywayz congratulate me, I think I need a standing ovation (tooo much!!!), atleast a smile on your face sighing another kid started scribbling!!! I really don’t want you to smile for that, but for the reason that you look really beautiful when you smile!!! Keep Smiling .. Keep visiting my blog. Tace Kare.. ba..byee…
